Music: watch your song being built, in any genre
In Pro, describe a song and watch it come together: tempo and key, then the drums, bass, chords, pad, melody and effects, track by track. It sounds fuller too, and it knows over a hundred styles.
Pro mode's composer now has Build a song. Describe it in your own words and the studio lays it out while you watch.
- The tempo, key and time signature come first, then each track slides in and its clips draw in, one after another.
- A line above the composer says what's being written. Stop whenever you like; one Undo takes the whole build back.
- Every price shows before anything runs. The pad and the risers are written in the studio and are free.
A fuller sound
- Layered instruments (piano, tine piano, strings, brass, guitars, choir) and drum kits that sound like real kits: rock, jazz brushes, house, breaks, Latin and Afro percussion, cinematic drums.
- A proper mix from the start: EQ and compression per track, reverb and delay, the kick ducking pads and bass where the style pumps, gentle glue on the master and a limiter.
- Swing on 16ths or eighths, and a Humanize amount so parts feel played rather than programmed.
Any style
- Over a hundred genres, from lo-fi, drill and amapiano to city pop, flamenco, tango, Baltic folk and epic trailer music, each with its tempo, grooves, chords and mix.
- Write it any way you like: “90s eurodance” or “sad piano like a film ending” both work.
- Ask for music like an artist you love and you get an original track with that sound. We don't copy their songs, lyrics or voice.
