Tonal gets icons, shapes and a new Control Center

In the Tonal look, app icons take your colours and a shape you pick, and Control Center pulls down like Quick Settings on a phone.

Tonal now looks even more like a new Android phone, and it stays just as light on slower computers.

  • Every app icon is its tool's symbol in the Tonal colours. Pick Circle, Squircle, Cookie, Clover or Arch in Settings → Appearance, or turn on Colourful icons for the pictures.
  • Control Center pulls down from the top with the time, big tiles you can tap on or off, and a thick slider. Edit it the same way as before.
  • Small things get playful shapes: your profile picture, the assistant's button, the loading sign and the switch when you press it.
