Calls ring, messages chime
InksForm has its own sounds now: a ringtone for calls, a calm tune while you wait for someone to pick up, and soft chimes for messages, notifications and finished work.
Every sound is our own, made on your device as you hear it: warm marimba, glass and bells, short and musical.
- An incoming call rings until you answer, decline or miss it, a little louder over the first rings. Pick Aurora, Lumen or Harbor in Settings → Notifications → Call ringtone; tap one to hear it.
- While you call someone, or wait to be let into a meeting, a quiet tune plays until they pick up.
- Joining and leaving a call have their own short notes, and people coming and going in a group call a very soft one.
- A new message chimes when its conversation isn't on screen. Notifications, finished work and work that didn't finish each have their own sound, once for a burst.
- Nothing plays over a call, and only the window in front makes a sound: when the app is in the background, desktop alerts use your computer's own.
- One switch silences it all: Sounds, in Settings → Notifications, or in Control Center.
