Report a story
Anyone who sees a story can now report it from its ⋯ menu, three reports take it down until someone looks, and its author is told why when it's hidden.
Stories now have the same safety as posts.
- Someone else's story has Report… in its ⋯ menu: pick a reason (hateful or bullying, sexual or graphic, spam or a scam, someone else's work, or something else) and add a few words if you like. The story pauses while you do.
- You can report a story once, only one you can see, and never your own. The person who shared it never learns who reported it.
- Three reports hide a story at once until our team decides. If we hide it, its author gets a note with the reason and the rule it broke.
